Answer the questions in a clear overview
and bring your answers to class to discuss

1. who are you designing for?
// houseless people who need mental
or emotional support
// they have a home but not a house
// they probably live in a community
// they probably have some mental issues

2. what is their relationship to the collection?
// they live in the street - street artworks
// the artworks might give them hope, company

3. which content are you interfacing with?
I realized, that the titles of the artworks I found were pre-keywords, that shaped my opinion and idea.
The collection fills the void of a troubled houseless mind.

the collection (provides):
// faith
// modern nomad lifestyle
// love spread, power of love
// breakthrough
// out together, home together

the user group (needs):
// companionship
// mental health
// coping mechanisms
// homes

4. what type of interaction is fitting for this?
// the user can learn about ways of self-helping
// a self-helping package, journey
// how to survive
// posters, safe spots, apply for a package

5. what type of medium is fitting for this?
// printed medium
// how to connect it to the interaction station???
// mobile app?

6. in general: what are you trying to accomplish through the interface you want to design?
// my approach is more personal
// I’m trying to give instant help
to the houseless people
// as a bonus the projects can be recognized
by the city management
// but my main focus is on the individual
// to accomplish: self-therapy, staying sane

selection of the collection is possible

feedback from group
how to find houseless people?
- talk to people

------------

quick & dirty
strangers by Amalia Pica

1. pick an interface example from the archive, define its medium and the type of interaction, and what elements of this would be interesting for your collection and user-group
// medium: offline, installation, communication
// interaction: the object can be held, pulled, folded, but people holding them can communicate,
be connected
// elements: connections

2. visually imagine and sketch how you can connect this medium and the type of interaction to your collection of knowledge

3. analyze the effect of your sketch, your choices in medium and interactivity
// I kept the medium, as it represents connection, which I want to apply on my user group as well.
// however, I want to loosen the strict rules
of the project. The two people who find the ending of the rope will initially get to each other
and therefore find companionship.
